At Defqon.1 2015 Ryan, better known by his stage name Delete, asked me to shoot his very first live act Delete VIP. After explaining what VIP (Variation in Production) stands for it felt really grateful to ride along with his journey to several bookings, an honor you can say. DJs usually work for years to present their own live act at this kind of respectable events.
I like to show people who Ryan behind Delete really is. To accomplish that I do not only shoot during, but also before and after his VIP set. In this way you get a better view of who Ryan is personally. Not only at his 30 minute performance. You see how Ryan prepares for his set and how tense he usually is before he presses the play button. Also the release when the first notes pounds through the arena filled with people and the relief when everything went fine.
